SKIP takes on the Red Sox once again! Well, the Community Home-stand anyway.

Volunteers Varis Ozols, Christie Ells, and Ray Towne April 12, 2008

On April 12, 2008 volunteers Varis Ozols, Christie Ells, Ray Towne, and Frank Spoerke took to the field (or gates) at Fenway Park to hand out information about Special Kindness In Packages to Red Sox and Yankees fans as they entered the park. This is the second year Special Kindness In Packages has been invited to participate in the Red Sox Community Home-Stand and we still have two more dates available for volunteers!

The last available dates this year are September 13. Space is very limited! We can only have 5 volunteers, so let us know today if you're interested. All volunteers need to be at the park 2 1/2 hours before opening pitch and after handing out fliers you can stay for the duration of the game! If you're interested in volunteering for these events please send our Vice President Skip Spoerke an Email at skip@specialkindness.org.

Ship Care Packages With Special Kindness In Packages

There are many ways to show your patriotism and support to the men and women serving in the US military. Wearing a yellow ribbon, flying the American Flag, and sporting "support the troops" bumper stickers are some great ways to do that, but so many service members aren't home to see those things. That's why Special Kindness In Packages ships care packages to the men and women of the United States military. By supporting the mission of Special Kindness In Packages your hand is also extended to directly supporting the heroes, and there are many ways you can do that.

On the left side of this page are a few links to different ways you can support the troops personally. For an overview of each support opportunity please click here. Remember, all donations directly support the mission of this organization. Nobody gets paid here.

Special Kindness In Packages, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit corporation.

Help Save the Organization

2007 was a very successful year in many respects and we are proud to have had the opportunity to ship so many care packages out, but the mission didn't stop there. Special Kindness In Packages needs your help to continue our mission.

So, we call on the troops we've shipped care packages to in the past. We call on the supporters who have made financial donations in the past and those who haven't. We call on each American who believes that supporting our troops is a wonderful cause to please find it in your heart to make a donation that will allow Special Kindness In Packages to ship more care packages to America's heroes.

Any amount you can donate is greatly appreciated and will be used toward our mission. We are all volunteers and we are proud of the support we offer to the troops. The cost to ship a care package is approximately $10, but even $1 will help. If every American donated just $1 think of how many care packages we could send! Please find it in your heart to give something.

Thank you for your support in advance. We can't do this without you. Click here to make a donation.
