Special Kindness In Packages, Inc. To Host “Boots In Bars” Benefit Show April 4, 2008

RAYNHAM, MA — Special Kindness In Packages (SKIP), a Brockton-based, non-profit organization and member of the Department of Defense’s America Supports You program, announced today the official launch of a month-long promotional campaign for the Boots In Bars benefit show to be held on April 4, 2008 from 8:30pm until 1:00am. For this event SKIP has teamed up with Peddler’s Loft, located at 1 Judson Street, Raynham, Massachusetts, Robby Bridges of Cat Country 98.1FM, and local bands VMF and Haywire Davinci. Also in attendance will be members of the Patriots Cheerleaders and a Jägermeister marketing team.

“This event is the one I’ve been working toward for almost two years,” said Skip Spoerke, Vice President of SKIP and disabled Veteran of the current Iraq conflict. “I’m very excited that we’ve been given the opportunity to organize this event and ecstatic that we’ve received such wonderful support by so many local businesses and residents. In fact, thanks to the overwhelming support we’ve received in preparation of this show, we believe this might be the first of many more to come. April 4th should be a great night.”

Organizers Skip Spoerke, Jennifer Witt, and Pamela Rinkaus are hopeful that the Boots In Bars benefit show will heighten community awareness of SKIP’s dedication to support American military members and their families, raise a minimum of $1,000, and ultimately launch an interesting and innovative music-based fundraising campaign for the organization.

50/50 raffle hosted by Peddler’s Loft
Patriots cheerleaders will be there for autograph signings, photos, and mingling with guests
A Jägermeister Marketing Team will also be present, sponsored by All State Promotions, Inc.
Support the Troops T-Shirts and Teddy Bears will be sold for $10 each by the organization.
