Demographic information including age, gender, military rank, military unit, military branch of service, military division, military member's home state, and date of military deployment and redeployment may also be volunteered in-person. This information will be maintained by Special Kindness In Packages, Inc. board members and/or directors to provide requested information and/or services and to improve the Special Kindness In Packages, Inc. public image and/or services rendered. We do not sell or otherwise release any contact information or demographic information.

OPSEC and PERSEC: Board members, directors, and committees of Special Kindness In Packages, Inc. always follow OPSEC (Operations Security) and PERSEC (Personal Security) regulations and guidelines to protect the service members, their units, their family and friends, the American public, and the organization volunteers to the best of our ability. This includes, but is not limited to, safeguarding all demographics and contact information of each supporter of Special Kindness In Packages, Inc. and each service member we support. Financial Transactions: All online financial transactions are securely handled through PayPal for the consumer's safety. In person, during fundraisers, and via postal mail we accept checks made out to Special Kindness In Packages, Inc. Cash is also accepted in person, during fundraisers, and via postal mail. Credit cards are only accepted online at this time.

Security Measures: Special Kindness In Packages, Inc. has appropriate security measures in place online and in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you.

Opt-In / Opt-Out Requests:

Care Packages: Military members may be included on the Special Kindness In Packages, Inc. care package recipient list by completing the Care Package Recipient Form or in-person. The military member must be deployed, not permanently assigned, outside CONUS. The mailing address must be designated either APO or FPO. We do not ship care packages to civilians regardless of mailing address designation. To opt-out of receiving care packages please send an Email containing the military member's full name, mailing address, and Email address to nancy@specialkindness.org."

Newsletter: Supporters of Special Kindness In Packages, Inc. may opt to receive newsletters from the organization containing information about our upcoming events and other ways to support the troops by completing the Newsletter Sign-up Form or the Volunteer Sign-up Form online, or by signing up as a volunteer at an event. At the bottom of each newsletter you may opt-out.
